Great Albums To Draw To
Yes, I still call them albums. I'm an album guy. I've never been much into singles. I think it's because I do like to draw so much. It's always been my modus operandi to put some sort of audio on in the background while I work on some art related project. Sometimes that audio is from a movie. Sometimes it's Pat Hughes and Ron Santo calling plays at a Cubs game on WGN. More often than not, it's music. Here's one that I listen to every now and again to get the creative juices flowing.

That is a sweet cover. I love the earth tones and the space. I need to listen to it.
I still call them albums, too.
Lately I have been listening to a lot of Warren Zevon. I was going through my CD's and I since they are organized alphabetically I found that I had been neglecting The Z's. It was sort of like finding buried treasure in your own house that you had forgotten about. That man was a genius, what a way with words and turns of phrase and the music...wow.
