Drawin' At The Field - January 2009

Went to the Field Museum today with some friends. A few of us went upstairs and fell in love with prehistoric creatures all over again.

Here's the head of a triceratops.


Here's the midsection of a Stegosaurus before I got tired of counting ribs.



This sweet-ass monstrosity which belongs on the cover of the next Slayer album is an Irish Deer. Amazing thing. I need to go back and do a larger full body drawing to get the full scale of how massive those antlers are.

Looking at all of the creatures just reminds me that God is a weird dude.
