Started out as a stream of consciousness doodle and ended up an obsession with feathers. Now I'm completely interested in different types of feathers. If I don't get distracted, I may do some studies. Or I'll just get my fix from Google images and move on. Gotta love the information age.

Top one has to do with a little story I was cooking up. Sort of a re-telling of Jonah. Maybe I'll get around to jotting down the other images. Bottom one-- well... I dunno.

Cock-A-Doodle-Huh?

This morning, I was devising a new ending for an animated short which has been in the works for awhile. The new finale involves a rooster doing what roosters do. As I was writing down the description of the scene this morning I started writing, "The rooster... the rooster... calls out?" That didn't sound right.

What do roosters do?

Now I'm a guy who has been to college and stuff, so you wouldn't think I would need to consult my See & Say to remember what it is a rooster does. Finally, it came to me. "The rooster crows." Ah yes. Curse my aged mind. No wonder I was confused. I can only assume that the logical portion of my brain was asking the creative side: How is it that a rooster can crow, but a crow can't rooster?

All I wanna do is scribble lately...

Whew...

Actually the last 2 weeks have been a bit Kuh-razy, folks.
